We study biogeochemical processes in surface waters (rivers, lakes,
wetlands). In our projects we combine chemical analysis, spectroscopy,
stable isotope techniques and molecular ecology to characterize
the turnover of carbon, nutrients and electron acceptors. Part of our
efforts is directed towards developing solutions for the integrated
management of aquatic systems. |
Location
The Aquatic Chemistry Group is located at
Eawag in Kastanienbaum on Lake Lucerne. We are affiliated with
the Department of Environmental
Sciences at ETH Zurich.
